SLC:  Praise for the 8 adults and 2 children that joined Team Summit.  Bless them and may they grow exponentially in their knowledge and experience with you God!

SLC:  For all those affected by Boston bombings and West, Tx. explosion.  Comfort those who mourn and reveal truth to the authorities and fbi.

cp:  Today (Thursday April 18th)  Received phone call from assisted living where mom is to tell me they found a deep laceration on her elbow.  I took her to ER - the wound was so deep, you could see bone.  She was a great patient, and allowed them to work on her without a fuss.  They took x-rays of her hands, elbows and hips to make sure there were no broken bones.  After stitches they released us around 6pm and she's back in her home.  I thank you Lord for the peace you gave me throughout the day and the ability to take care of this matter without too much disruption to my own family or children.  It saddens me that she doesn't remember falling.  Perhaps it's a good thing at this point.  I just ask for continue guidance, wisdom and strength to make the necessary adjustments and decision along the way.  I give you all the glory for carrying us both through this today.  Keep her safe Lord and when you call her to heaven, may it be peacefully without pain or length of suffering.  In Jesus' name.  Amen.

"See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The LORD God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory."  Isaiah 12:2
