Susan J.: Pray for Jean who we met at Wal-Mart and works there. She looked really sick and when I started talking to her, she told me that she has difficulty breathing, swallowing, and her head pounds. She can hardly walk. She fears her cancer has returned. She is going to see her doctor on Thursday. She fears the worst. We prayed for her and we want others to uphold her. Wal-Mart said if she misses another day off work she will be fired. She was using the shopping cart as a support for her to walk.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty those who are oppressed,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.”

Weekly Prayer Requests/Praises
Sarah: Healing, deliverance and restoration for my son Joelson. That he may give his life to Christ.
Anonymous: Father God, Creator of heaven and earth, we cry out to you for an answer regarding a very important decision for our family. If this is something you have had in your plan, then give us confirmation in a mighty way to us, and to those praying for this situation. You tell us in your word to care for the widows and for the fatherless. We will not move forward without your hand of approval. If we are best suited for this role, then make it evident. "I give myself away, so you can use me." We love you Father God. Amen.
Al R.: Praise: Had 60 hours of work last week. God schedule for five days this week including two dual call days. Prayer: More work at job.
Ashley C.: Stepmom is going through kidney failure and cervical cancer. Aunt and uncles separation/marriage. Discernment on my school and work path.
Manami K.: My doubles partner, Susan B., had three miscarriages and is engaged with the this tennis pro. Thank you for blessing their marriage and also for helping them adopt a child and become wonderful parents. Thank you for their salvation.

1 I waited patiently and expectantly for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry.
2 He drew me up out of a horrible pit [a pit of tumult and of destruction], out of the miry clay (froth and slime), and set my feet upon a rock, steadying my steps and establishing my goings.
3 And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many shall see and fear (revere and worship) and put their trust and confident reliance in the Lord.
4 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who makes the Lord his refuge and trust, and turns not to the proud or to followers of false gods.
5 Many, O Lord my God, are the wonderful works which You have done, and Your thoughts toward us; no one can compare with You! If I should declare and speak of them, they are too many to be numbered.
6 Sacrifice and offering You do not desire, nor have You delight in them; You have given me the capacity to hear and obey [Your law, a more valuable service than] burnt offerings and sin offerings [which] You do not require.
7 Then said I, Behold, I come; in the volume of the book it is written of me;
8 I delight to do Your will, O my God; yes, Your law is within my heart.
9 I have proclaimed glad tidings of righteousness in the great assembly [tidings of uprightness and right standing with God]. Behold, I have not restrained my lips, as You know, O Lord.
10 I have not concealed Your righteousness within my heart; I have proclaimed Your faithfulness and Your salvation. I have not hid away Your steadfast love and Your truth from the great assembly.
11 Withhold not Your tender mercy from me, O Lord; let Your loving-kindness and Your truth continually preserve me!

Psalm 146
1 Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) Praise the Lord, O my soul!
2 While I live will I praise the Lord; I will sing praises to my God while I have any being.
3 Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no help.
4 When his breath leaves him, he returns to his earth; in that very day his [previous] thoughts, plans, and purposes perish.
5 Happy (blessed, fortunate, enviable) is he who has the God of [special revelation to] Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God,
6 Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, Who keeps truth and is faithful forever,
7 Who executes justice for the oppressed, Who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets free the prisoners,
8 The Lord opens the eyes of the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the [uncompromisingly] righteous (those upright in heart and in right standing with Him).
9 The Lord protects and preserves the strangers and temporary residents, He upholds the fatherless and the widow and sets them upright, but the way of the wicked He makes crooked (turns upside down and brings to ruin).
10 The Lord shall reign forever, even Your God, O Zion, from generation to generation. Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)
