Weekly Prayer Requests

Manami K.:  Lord, please help my friends, Brent F. and Trent O., find their paths you set even before they were born.  Please set my teenage student (Kate G.) free from drugs, alcohol, and sex.  Heal her broken heart.

Anonymous:  Please pray for my dad's (Gordon P.) salvation/deliverance and healing of all spiritual wounds.  Please be praying for me and more of His presence, promises, perspective, and power in my life--that I'd be in alignment with His paradigm and will and for renewal of my mind and strength for parenting/being a single mom.  Love and communication in all my relationships and desire of my heart.

Milton W.:  First of all, I would like to praise God for taking care of me and my mom for these past eighteen years.  As I head off, I request that we be in prayer.  Watch over my mom and for spiritual growth at Texas A&M.

Aly & Donovan M.:  Pray for my pregnancy, and we need prayers finding a home in sixty days.

Surelda H.:  Please be in prayer for incoming freshmen as they travel to and from Impact.  Please pray that there will be no hindrances as they seek the face of God and glorify and worship Him for the four days.  May their hearts and lives be forever devoted to the One who loves them dearly and who has and will for all eternity.  May they, in their time of travel and in the years to come--if they have not known it in the past--realize this, come to know it in their hearts, embrace it, and walk it out with Him as they lay down their lives, hopes, and hearts, everything, as true worshipers who will follow Him all of the days of their lives and never turn back.

Cp:  Lord, by your Spirit, touch the heart, mind, body, and soul of our spiritual son, "B."  He is in the grasp of the enemy--ensnarled in addiction; alcohol, pill, cocaine, etc.  Save him from self-destruction--awaken him to Your Spirit & Your love, and use us to minister to him as you see fit.  We declare freedom in his life! In Jesus' name, Amen.

17 When the poor and needy seek water,
    and there is none,
and their tongue is parched with thirst,
I the Lord will answer them;
I the God of Israel will not forsake them.
18 I will open rivers on the bare heights,
and fountains in the midst of the valleys.
I will make the wilderness a pool of water,
and the dry land springs of water.
19 I will put in the wilderness the cedar,
the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive.
I will set in the desert the cypress,
the plane and the pine together,
20 that they may see and know,
    may consider and understand together,
that the hand of the Lord has done this,
the Holy One of Israel has created it.
