Laura K: from my friend and client - ron. his siter (only 37) had a massive stroke. she has 4 kids :(
...............................................
This past Monday morning, my sister Amy suffered a stroke. She was flown to Harris Hospital in FW where she has been in Neuro ICU. She was placed into an induced coma, but we were occasionally able to get her to respond to commands like squeezing our hand or wiggling her toes - on her right side only when they temporarily removed the sedation to check her responsiveness. On Thursday morning, Amy had a set-back, and the surgeon decided it was necessary to drill into her skull and put in a tube to drain some build up of fluid in her brain and in the process they were able to drain some of the hematoma. She has shown very little responsiveness, but does occastionally give a "thumbs up" or a hand squeeze when asked to, so for that we are grateful. She is back on ventilation and a feeding tube, and they continue to monitor her situation which is obviously very serious. All of her vitals are steady, but there is no significant change in her condition today. The drain in her head remains, and they continue to relieve quite a bit of fluid to decrease the pressure in her brain.

I want to say thank you for all the prayers that have been said on her behalf and for all the ones that are still to be prayed. My sister is only 37 years old. She has 4 children ranging from 2 1/2 to 15. We want so desperately for her to open her eyes and smile at us. Please, I ask that you ask God to continue to watch over her and bless her in this uncertain time. I also ask that you say a prayer for her kids and husband as they have a very difficult time ahead. Thank you in advance.

Isabella: Dear God, what does it look like up there? please take good care of coco and chanel.

Suzanne: Praise Report- we prayed for my friend Sheri re: her breast biopsy. The results were negative and the surgeon said "there was nothing there." Glory to God!

Anonymous: Lord, please forgive me for falling into temptation and being drawn to earthly pleasures. I repent of my sins and want to break through walls that are blocking me from you. I renounce those inner vows I have spoken over myself. I am worthy of love and I am good enough. You made me with purpose. Help me find what it is you want me to do.

3 We put no stumbling block in anyone’s path, so that our ministry will not be discredited.4Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; 5in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; 6in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; 7in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; 8through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; 9known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; 10sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.

11We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our hearts to you. 12We are not withholding our affection from you, but you are withholding yours from us. 13As a fair exchange—I speak as to my children—open wide your hearts also. 2 Cor 6: 3-13
