Jan D.- Health. As she is due to have surgery to remove her thyroid and yesterday she was diagnosed with ocular migraines which causes temporary blindness. Prayer for God's miraculous healing! Thanks.

Sumer G.- My friend's little girl, Kailey, made it through her brain surgery. The first couple days were rough but she is getting better every day! She even got to walk around some yesterday. PTL!!

Kathleen- My precious friend Robin lost her 6 year old grandson Ben this morning.

Robin & her husband are near & dear to my heart. They are faithful servants who are devoted to fulfilling God's call on their lives to care for orphans.

C.P.- Kay and Sam Boleman (she's a prayer warrior friend of ours on our blog) mp knows her from Pwood – she helped us pray before starting church- she's very close to us-

her son Chris stepped outside his home this morning to go get coffee - he collapsed and died. (he has visited summit various times when we were at addison event center- has 2 lil ones)mp is at baylor plano now with family.

Amy D.- My mentor and collegeauge office mate, Aggie- husband died last night. They were such a huge part of our church, and they were the cutest couple and loved God more than anyone, and were just solid. I am so sad for Aggie, even though they had a great life together and he was 82. They are like my second parents. Prayers for their family appreciated.

C.P.- Hi there, just a heads up (no pun intended!) that our sweet boy, Grayson will have his next MRI on Monday of next week. We will come get him around the time he normally goes to lunch: 11:30ish. Thanks ahead of time for all the precious prayers!

P.s. Please pray that not only do they find nothing in the original spot, but also that they find nothing regarding his neck muscle pain that has gone on for a couple of months. We took him into his pediatric doc yesterday aftn and he really seems to think it's muscular but nurse Janet was uneasy with how much he's been complaining. His surgeon called to follow up last night and they will take an extra special look at that area.

Melissa M.- Praise- Our son was offered a full scholarship to the school he has been attending the last 2 years. This is huge as we thought we would need to withdraw due to finances. $18,000, well priceless really.

Anonymous- My friend Rob is having surgery on his lungs Tuesday. Please pray for safety, healing, and his wife Lise and daughter Alea.

C.P.- For my spiritual daughter- bring her divine revelation this week, Father, be with her as she makes difficult decisions about her life- may she feel(more than anything) the true love of the Father. Heal her heart, her mind, and soul. Bring her peace beyond all understanding open doors for her in dark hallways, and give her confidence, not in her own abilities, but in You, Lord! In Jesus' Name, Amen!

Elizabeth S.- I will be traveling to Romania April 20-26 to support the organization Jesus Hope of Romania for their orphan's Easter event, Resurrection March and 20th anniversary. Please pray that the Lord do works in me, through me, and for their ministry in and during my travels there. Thanks!

Skyler T.- He was accepted into origins Recovery in South Padre Island. It is a 90 day drug rehab center for dual diagnosis clients and is a Christian based 12 step program. Thank you everyone for your continued prayers for his complete healing and total recovery and being able to have an independent, blessed, successful life.

The Blessed Life 3.3.11

The Blessed Life What does it mean to be ‘blessed’? Generally when someone says they are blessed it is due to a circumstance in the world working out in their favor… that the result was ‘good’ and not ‘bad’. There is a fable that provides the truth regarding "good" or "bad". A farmer had one old horse that he used for tilling his fields. One day the horse escaped into the hills and when all the farmer’s neighbors heard about it, they sympathized with the old man over his bad luck. “Bad luck? Good luck? Who knows?” said the farmer. A week later, the horse returned with a herd of wild horses from the hills and this time the neighbors congratulated the farmer on his good luck. “Good luck? Bad luck? Who knows?” said the farmer. Then, when the farmer’s son was attempting to tame one of the wild horses, he fell off its back and broke his leg. Everyone agreed that this was very bad luck. Not the farmer, who replied, “Bad Luck? Good luck? Who knows?” Some weeks later, the army marched into the village and forced every able-bodied young man to go fight in a bloody war. When they saw that the farmer’s son had a broken leg, they let him stay. Everyone was very happy at the farmer’s good luck. - We are not called to determine good or bad – rather, we are asked to determine true. · Honestly, whenever we determine good or bad we have established the end of a matter. By establishing the end we remove the eternal. By removing the eternal we have removed God and by removing God we are left without hope. So what is a life that is blessed? Is it a life in which every day is sunny? You know what they call that … a desert! Let’s go with this working definition: “A blessed life is a life filled with divine coincidences in which you have supernatural power working for you. You have favor because God’s presence is both in AND upon your life as a result of how you handle revelation.” A blessed person may or may not be wealthy by the world’s standards By contrast, a life that is ‘cursed’ has supernatural power working against you. God’s presence may be “in” but it is not “upon” your life due to the mishandling of revelation. Meaning: There is blessing and favor that is untapped because of the way revelation (truth) is handled. You may or may not walk around oppressed however there is the conviction that revelation is not being handled appropriately. Again, this person may or may not be wealthy by the world’s standards. “God’s presence is in me for my sake – but it is upon me for yours.” Being blessed is not something that “just happens” – God would not place eternity in the atmosphere of chance. Rather blessing is found in process so when we have a mindset that only considers the outcome of a matter we have erected a barrier to living a blessed life. It's unwise to pick and choose what determines a blessing. Most people say, “Show me the baby don’t tell me about the labor…." But how many of you know that having a baby is NOT the end of the matter? Having supernatural power working for you begins with circumstance: How I see circumstance determines the system with which I will broker revelation – how I choose to “see” reality (from an eternal perspective or an immediate perspective). The power of God’s prophetic word manifests in proportion to our response to circumsance. Here is the progression: - How I handle my circumstances determines my revelation. - How I handle revelation determines my breakthrough. - How I handle breakthrough determines my blessing (supernatural power working for me). - How I handle my blessing (supernatural power working for me) determines my increase and favor. This process is repeated over again throughout scripture: For instance – Mark 8:7 - Jesus took the fish and loaves and blessed them and they increased (he brought the supernatural to the natural). He considered the circumstance and progressed through process. - He saw the potential in the insignificant. - There is a seed of Kingdom explosion in every circumstance. 2 Samuel 5:19-21 David did not consider his recent victory as a sanction to embark into other battles without seeking revelation from God. He regarded the circumstance and again, progressed through process. Jesus increased in favor with God and man – Luke 2:52 · Favor with man was due to the way he handled circumstances that brought – revelation. That revelation brought breakthrough (in their lives) – because of the breakthrough in their lives – that gave Him favor with man. Most of us can increase in favor with man… if we “help” them we gain their favor. · How he handled the revelation (truth) brought increased blessing – the way he handled blessing brought favor from the Father (how he handled what was placed in His life each day) – the more he handled blessing correctly the greater the manifestation. Increased blessing (supernatural power working in your favor) is determined by how you broker circumstance and the revelation today. So How do you see 'today'?

Sumer G.- A friend of mine from high school just found her daughter who is 11 has to have brain surgery to remove a cluster of blood vessels that is causing seizures and migraines. I want to pray for the dr's and for the family for comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Pastor Patrick R.- Enemy is attacking his family hard because of breakout at his church. Pray that God will heal his family.

Angie and Peter B.- Angie and Peter have been trying to have a baby with no success. They have done four in-vitro's with no success. She is devastated. Pray that God will give them a child.

Anonymous- We are going to Jackson, MS next weekend. Please pray for our friends Mark and Sylvia who we will be ministering to. Sylvia needs physical healing of her eye. Mark needs deeper revelation of God's love. Thank you!

Emily P.- Pray for answers to Sam's dr. appt this week. Pray for God's hand on Sarah Beth. Help her to be respectful and obedient.

Jeff and Molly- Please pray for Karissa. She is 18 and running with the world. Her father has abandoned her and she has become self destructive. She needs love and the Lord!

Anonymous- Please help my parents see truth and learn that God is in my heart and helping me do great things. Please take away the anger and conflict between us and bring forgiveness and love.

Anonymous- Elizabeth Elezondo's grandmother whose friend is in the hospital!

Rochelle Cole- Pray for my mother Robbie to quit smoking so much out of worry over me, my sister Telissa and her addiction to wine so that God will bless her with a healthy human relationship with a good man, and for Nicole to feel happiness and trust in her wonderful husband that is true to her. Pray for me that I know that I am living in God's will not mine sometime i do not know the difference. Thank you, Chelle. Pray that before my father Peter goes to sleep every night that he is so loved by me for he has protected, provided, and always professed his love to all of us females all girls in his home. Bless Him.

Chris G.- Sumer and I would like to pray for Grayson's health, that the Spirit of God purifies him of all and any residual affects, cleansing him entirely. We also pray for John Gigl, as he experiences change in his job. Praise God for His work in John.

Suzanne- Please pray for Tommy Morley- Malignant melanoma undergoing surgery April 5. Please pray for Mrs. Bagley- Tumor on bladder, surgery on April 7th. Please pray for my dad- Tom Jameson- Lymphoma and his wife, breast cancer/ melanoma.

Skyler T.- Please pray for him over the next several weeks- he has voluntarily turned himself in on an old criminal charge. He will be serving approximately 20 days in the Dallas County Jail. Please pray for this to be a time of breakthrough for him, for his protection, for him to see his destiny clearly, and for healing and wholeness to come into his life, and for him to rise up as a man and continue to accept responsibility for his life and for his actions, both good and bad. Also that he would start to operate in his destiny and be able to witness and pray for others in the jail while he is there.
